Start With the Ally Menu, Not the Trade Menu
Clover Legends allies are other players you team up with through the in-game Ally panel. To start using Clover Legends allies, meet your friend in the same session, open Ally, and use its team-creation and player-invitation controls. Obey's September walkthrough describes the benefit as sharing XP when an ally defeats enemies.
The panel appears at 4:30 in Obey's systems walkthrough. It contains a player list on the left, an Invite button beside each listed name, and a green Create button on the right. The accompanying panel text directs players to create or join a team.
You can locate the Ally shortcut beneath the character information on the left of the recorded mobile interface. It uses a group-of-people icon. Trade sits beside it, but opens a different panel with Trade buttons. Choose the people icon when your goal is playing together rather than exchanging an item.
| Visible control | Where it appears | What to use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Ally shortcut | Beneath the character information | Open the team interface |
| Player list | Left side of the Ally panel | Find the person you want to team with |
| Invite | Beside a listed player's name | Start that player's invitation interaction |
| Create | Lower-right part of the panel | Start your own team setup |
| Red X | Upper-right corner of the panel | Close the window and return to play |
Keep the player's name in view when selecting an invitation. Two nearby avatars can look similar, and the person standing closest to you is not necessarily the person whose row you selected.
Get Into the Same Session First
A Clover Legends allies session is easier to organize when one person enters the game first and the other joins that person. Agree who will start, then use the correct Clover Legends experience by Flecks Labs: Legends.
Roblox's instructions for joining another player describe the platform step: open the player's profile or find their username, then select Join Experience when it is available. That option depends on the other player's join setting and your permission to access the experience.
Once both characters have loaded, agree on a visible meeting point. The castle-library area on Starter Island or a named island portal is more useful than “come to me.” If one of you is already on Skull Island and the other is still at the starting area, choose which destination both can reach before opening more menus.
Joining through a friend's Roblox profile gets you into their experience. The Ally panel then handles the separate in-game teaming action. Complete those in that order so a server-joining problem does not get mistaken for an Ally invitation problem.
| Where the process stops | First check | Useful next action |
|---|---|---|
| Join Experience is absent | Whether your friend is playing and permits joining | Resolve the Roblox joining step first |
| Both players launched separately | Whether you can locate each other in the session | Have one player join the other directly |
| Your friend is elsewhere on the map | The island and landmark they are using | Agree on one meeting point |
| The wrong player is selected | The name beside the invitation button | Return to the intended player's row |
If somebody disconnects, start by reconnecting with the person who remained in the session. Then reopen Ally and inspect the current team state before resuming. This avoids running a quest while each player assumes the other has already completed the setup.
Use Create and Invite Deliberately
For Clover Legends allies, make one person the organizer for the session. This is a practical arrangement between you: one person handles the initial setup while the other watches for the game's response. It keeps you from sending overlapping requests while also trying to navigate the map.
For a new group, the menu offers Create. For a listed player, it offers Invite. Choose the action for your situation and follow any instructions displayed in your current game. Check the resulting team state together before moving away.
The Ally panel at 4:33 is a useful visual reference for finding these controls. Read the selected player's row before tapping, and use the Create and Invite labels to distinguish starting a group from selecting a person.
Keep setup separate from your first fight:
- Meet at the agreed landmark.
- Confirm the other player's name.
- Have one person begin team setup.
- Handle the invitation interaction before closing the panel.
- Agree on the first quest target.
- Move into combat once both players are ready.
If a control appears unavailable, read any status or message shown beside it rather than repeatedly tapping different names. Ask your friend what their screen shows before trying again. Keep the conversation tied to the button and player you selected so you are both checking the same action.
An invitation is also different from a trade request. If your window contains Trade buttons, close it and reopen Ally. Keep actions in Trade separate from your Ally setup.
Keep Shared XP Separate From Your Other Progress
Obey describes Clover Legends allies as sharing the benefit when teammates take down enemies at 4:34. That makes ordinary enemy quests a sensible first activity for a newly organized team: you can coordinate around a clear target while watching your character's progress.
Choose one short quest loop before attempting a long trip or difficult boss. Check your XP bar and active objective after the first few enemies. That tells you what is advancing on your own character and makes it easier to notice a missed quest selection before repeating the activity.
Clover Legends has several progression displays, so read the one that matches your goal:
| Progress display | What you are following | Your useful action |
|---|---|---|
| Character XP and level | Character progression during the session | Watch your own bar and level notifications |
| Active quest counter | The objective you accepted | Check that the named target matches the fight |
| Book Level | Development of the equipped grimoire | Track the book's spell milestones |
| Seasonal assignments | The selected seasonal task | Read its own requirement and progress counter |
The official game description ties new spells to Book Levels 10 and 20. If your immediate goal is another spell, keep fighting with that book and watch its level. A character level-up banner answers a different question from whether the grimoire has reached its next unlock.
Both players should read their own quest objectives before starting a run. One may need Wild Monkeys while the other has moved on to a different enemy. Agreeing to “farm together” is much clearer when you also agree which quest and enemy you mean.
For a quick progress check, compare the relevant display before and after a short fight, with reward claiming and shopping left until afterward. Keeping those activities separate makes the result easier to follow and gives you a clean point from which to continue the session.
Build a Quest Run Both Players Can Follow
A useful Clover Legends allies route starts with the less-developed player's current objective. For example, CHALLS's starter quest sequence at 2:38 shows Sister Lily and Wild Monkey targets. Meeting there gives a new player a recognizable NPC and enemy instead of an unexplained destination across the sea.
On Skull Island, the same creator's quest sequence at 6:49 involves Fox Mages. Treat moving there as a shared route decision: confirm that both players can reach the area and handle its enemies before making it the session's main activity.
| Session goal | Plan together | Recheck before continuing |
|---|---|---|
| Finish a starter quest | Meet by the relevant NPC and read the target | Each player's active objective |
| Repeat a familiar enemy group | Agree where to fight and when to move | Health, mana, and quest progress |
| Try another island | Choose the destination and travel option | Whether both players have arrived |
| Attempt a boss | Learn the target and prepare available spells | Whether either player needs another upgrade first |
During combat, keep enemies in a direction both players can see. Someone learning a short-range attack may need a steadier fighting area than a teammate using broad spells. Agree on where to stand and when to move instead of dragging the group between two different targets.
If the weaker player repeatedly falls behind, shorten the loop or return to a manageable objective. Spending the session crossing islands to catch up is less useful than completing a nearby task together. A good stopping point is one completed objective, a useful book milestone, or a planned return to town.
Clover Legends Allies FAQ
Where is the Ally button?
In Obey's recorded mobile interface, Ally is the group-of-people shortcut beneath the character information on the left. It opens the player list with Invite controls and a Create button. Trade is a separate nearby shortcut.
Does joining a friend's Roblox session finish team setup?
Join Experience handles the platform step. Once you meet in the game, open the Ally panel and complete the teaming interaction there. Keep the session join and the in-game invitation as separate steps.
What do Clover Legends allies help with?
Obey describes shared XP benefits when allies defeat enemies. Start with a suitable enemy quest, coordinate your targets, and follow your own character XP and objective displays as you play together.
What should I do if my friend is missing from the list?
Confirm the username, have one player join the other's active session, and meet at a named landmark. Reopen the Ally panel after both have loaded, then look for the intended player again before sending an invitation.
